The five of us had a wonderful time. Your house in Tuscany is  beautiful and was a very pleasant retreat.

It was very easy to get around by bus and car. We also stayed in Florence and Rome for a  few days.

It was great and I definitely would love to stay again in  the future. Thanks for a great memory, Laura

Had a wonderful time! The scenery was just amazing and loved your  house. And I will be sure to

recommend your house to friends and colleagues. I already have someone in mind who I know will love it. - Nancy (NY)

The Pizza, the wine, the ravioli, the views, the hot springs, the people. a trip of a lifetime! Walter (Houston)

A perfect setting to celebrate a 50th birthday. We never imagined how beautiful the vistas are. Enjoyed exploring different villages, the architecture, the food & especially the vino! Mark & Brenda (NY)

A fantastic house & truly memorable place. Really reccomend the walks to Montalcino & sitting in the hot springs on New Years day! A perfect place to enjoy life   Boris & Lorena (London)

The house proved to be an 'ideal base' for our adventures. Thank you again for sharing your property Katherine Brail (NY)

We'd loved Montepulciano (probably our favorite location and wine), we also visited Siena, Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Pisa, Lucca, San Gim, and of course Florence. We ate the the Vecchio Forno twice (loved the atmosphere) as well as a wonderful restaurant in Siena call Ristorante Guido. We visited the Uffizi Gallery, The Accademia, Boboli Gardens as well as the Duomo in Siena. Such friendly people particularly in San Quirico (it took us three days to pronounce it correctly). You have a lovely house and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I gave a raving review to my friend Jessalyn who will be booking soon.   Kristine (NY)

Your house was truly an oasis - I loved everything about it and the town is a gem. Your suggestions for restaurants were spot on - I especially loved La Porta in Monticchiello - truffles are in season now and I had the absolute best pasta meal of my life there (which is saying quite a lot since I'm 100% Italian). And the local hangouts were exceptional as well - Vecchio Forno had an AMAZING gnocchi in truffles! But some of our best nights were spent right at your home -- we went to the local butcher and cooked our own meals and ate by candle light on that fabulous terrace. Bella!  Valerie (New York)

Let me just say that staying in your house was amazing. I thought it was in the perfect location and I honestly felt like I was away for two weeks. It is decorated very tastefully and I had great nights sleep in the comfortable beds. That is rare for me!! We loved driving to the neighboring towns and sight seeing. Eating at some of the local places in the village was great. Some of the best meals we had all week! Everyone was so nice in Tuscany, and it was a super relaxing but fun filled vacation. I would go back to the house again in a heartbeat.   Jennifer (NY)

The area is so beautiful and quaint. Your house is lovely and furnished just right. Your beds are so comfy…it was so easy to sleep in late!  Helen (NY)

I just wanted to take a quick minute and thank you profusely for all your help, consideration and hospitality. We absolutely loved San Quirico, what a charming village! And your house is outstanding! We loved to open the windows and look out onto the street. We couldn't have hoped for anything better and would highly recommend to anyone (let me know if you need help booking the place, I will be your biggest promoter!!!)   Carrie (New York)

Your house is amazing and I had such a wonderful time exploring beautiful Tuscany. Thank you for a wonderful vacation. .   Jessalyn (New York)

We had a fantastic week at the villa. It went way too fast and I still can't believe my holiday is over. We had brilliant weather the whole week and the whole experience was amazing. We had a wonderful experience of the next door neighbours crushing grapes for wine each afternoon right in the street outside your house! It was fascinating to watch and such a memorable experience. I also totally agree with you that little restaurant just down the street from your place has fantastic food. Thanks once again, Kate (london)

We got back today - we all enjoyed your lovely house. Village was as described - most friendly. They were preparing all week for a festival this weekend so shame we missed this as preparations looked and sounded great - lots of drums and flags David (London)

Had a wonderful fantastic time. You have a wonderful place and a great movie collection. Thanks. Maybe another year.  Timothy (NY)

Thanks for a fabulous break. The house is beautiful – you must be really proud of the work you have done on it. Very relaxing week – the kids were not up for climbing the hills of the surrounding villages too often, so we did lots of lazing round the pool. Quite a bit of thunder and lightning but it didn’t ever last too long and it was always hot! There was a festival on in the village, so John even managed to join in a race at the last minute (spotted the runners while we were getting takeaway pizza for the kids!). The locals seemed to be delighted to see him, so that was great. Ran round the walls myself a few times, but it was very hilly… .   Danielle (London)

We are all still just in awe of how wonderfully relaxing the house was to stay in. It was perfect for us. Thank you again . Paul’s wife, stated flatly that she was not leaving  Jim (New York)

We really enjoyed the house and the village, as well as your restaurant recommendations. It wonderful to have such a nice home to return to each evening   Ray (New York)

How wonderful is your house!! We had such a super time. The little town is absolutely brilliant and we had the luck to be there during the Barbarossa festival where all the four 'factions' of San Quirico come together to compete at flag throwing and archery (not to mention the parades, re-enactments, religious ceremonies!!!). Just amazing, and we participated fully. We got to know so many locals, particularly as we also watched England play soccer twice in the next-door bar, surrounded by Italy supporters!!! Lots of confused chat about football techniques and Rooney! We went on loads of drives into the hills cos the scenery is soooo beautiful. I shot so many rolls of film, I lost count!! -   Helen (London)

What an amazing vacation, just wanted to send a little note of thanks for renting your beautiful home to my family and I. We had such a lovely week in San Quirico D'Orcia and the surrounding towns. The house and town are charming and your restaurant recommendations could not have been better. Cara (London)
