Village of San Quirico d'Orcia

The house is located in the charming village of San Quirico d'Orcia,
south of Siena. The region is famous for its breath taking scenery with
its medievil hilltop towns, vineyards & olive groves. The village is known
for its olive oil & celebrates every december with the 'Festa dell Olio'.

Sample the famous Brunello wine from neighbouring Montalcino, relax
in the hot springs, explore the nearby villages of Pienza, Montalcino,
Montepulciano or drive 22miles up to Siena.

The village has a good choice of restaurants and cafes or there is a
good quality butcher, bakery, fishmonger and supermarket.

Other activities include mountain biking, walking, wine tasting,
language & cookery courses, or visiting one of the many luxury spas.

However - you may prefer simply chilling out sipping cappuccinos in the village square, dining at home on the
terrace or perhaps curled up in front of a blazing log fire reading a good book or watching a DVD.
